The most common questions about service and principles of iWatt.

What is iWatt?

iWatt is a Slovak application that aims to support active lifestyle and spread positive energy. It allows its users to transform their energy from movement into virtual energy - iWatts. Users can use this energy to support their favorite sports clubs or replace iWatts in Energyshop.

Depending on the intensity of the movement, the user then obtains the appropriate amount of energy. Activities need to be exchanged for iWatts on the day you complete them. The only activity for which we will credit you iWatts in the last max. 7 days are steps.

How do iWatts count and why do they discharge every day?

To calculate iWatts, we use a rather complex formula, in which we take into account the type of activity, their duration, the distance and calories in indoor activities. Better performance means more iWatts.
iWatts are stored in the user's account in a virtual battery. Same as batteries in everyday life, this one discharges over time. Specifically, 1/90 of your current value is deducted from your account each day.

How does the daily limit rule work?

In order to protect the principles of fair play and at the same time ensure a symbiosis between professional athletes and active users, when exchanging activities for iWatts, we apply the so-called Daily limit rule. If the total amount of a user's daily activities lasts longer than 4 hours, iWatts will no longer count for other activities. Our goal is not to discourage those who really do it, but to protect the principles of the application from attempts to fraudulently make iWatts.
